Just starting to run and not confident yet! The highlights of my running career include running 5 miles through the hills of west salem. ha. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Excited to actually finish a race this year! First a 1/2 marathon then H2C!

CDA1/2 Marathon without dying.  

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep in shape, healthy.  Use running/excercise as a form of thearapy and way to clear my head.  It always puts me in a better mood no matter what! 

Personal:

Happily married with a doggie, Frank and a cat Phoebe.  Human children in the future, God willing!

Ugh. Feel so sick today...  Stayed home from work too.  My throat hurts, my chest is tight and I feel so stuffed up.  To run or not to run when sick?  I dont feel like it now, but I feel so guilty with the 1/2 marathon a little over a month away.

Finally was able to run today.  My chest and head didnt feel all that great but was better than expected.  Ran at a slow pace on the treadmill for 5 miles.

Meant to run yesterday outside and enjoy the beautiful weather.   However, after being sick with probably the worst cold I've had in a couple of years, I mangaged to also contract pink eye. GROSS! This is something I've never had before either!  So, now I am home once again becuase it is highly contageous. My husband won't even sleep in the same bed as me. :(  How could I make sales calls, meet with customers and expect co-workers to suffer in fear that they might too contract "the pink eye"?  So, my boss told me to stay home. 

Karma is a you-know-what, this is what I get for making fun of my husband for being sick last week with the "man cold".

Hopefully, I'm on the road to recovery.

I am so upset right now because I cannot get the Garmin to automatically update to my computer.  I think Jordan erased some of the software I downloaded last weekend!  And now I cant find the manual because I am unorganized.  Ugh hope to get it figured out again...!!!!!! I need to know my splits!! Even though I was terribly slow tonight!!! It was a gorgeous night and warm!! Only wore tshirt and shorts it was great, but still very windy in these hills!  Makes for a good work out while going up hill.  Now off to a double header for softball! 

TT 58:00 exact.  Really actually very dissappointing, just makes me realize how far off of my goals I really am. I had to stop once while going up the hill because I was too tired!

Okay, so I thought yesterday was bad but today was even worse.  I was so tired and useless.  I wanted to go 9 but there was absolutely no way!  I had to walk at least a mile today because I was so tired.  And my inner thigh hurt really bad because of the line drive it cushioned last night at softball.

SO, here to better runs next week!!!!!!!!!!  I want a 10 miler!!!!!
