Did not plan to run this pace! After not feeling as "in shape"as I was last year at this time and after drinking/eating pizza the night before I thought a PR was out of the question! But thanks to Nicole 'the machine' Ralston Greene, we rocked it. Once again she pushed me just the right amount! And I'm glad I was able to get a PR, even though the course was a little short, which is annoying. I'm always amazed with Nicole's running skills! After being injured she is able to push me to do what I think I'm not capable of! I'm also proud of Jordan and Justin for running the 10K! Jordan ran an 7:37 mile which is ridonculous. I liked the course because it was pretty flat, just one hellacious hill. It was the worst because you could see it from far away, so you tired and you are just staring at this, what seemed to be a 90 degree angled hill. Luckily it wasnt that long. The waste plant was smelling and not nice to breath in while running. The weather held out and it wasnt bad, no rain. :) We had a great weekend with the Greene's and cant wait to do it again soon!
