Half Marathon Finish

Running Accomplishments:

Just starting to run and not confident yet! The highlights of my running career include running 5 miles through the hills of west salem. ha. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Excited to actually finish a race this year! First a 1/2 marathon then H2C!

CDA1/2 Marathon without dying.  

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep in shape, healthy.  Use running/excercise as a form of thearapy and way to clear my head.  It always puts me in a better mood no matter what! 

Personal:

Happily married with a doggie, Frank and a cat Phoebe.  Human children in the future, God willing!

The trick I play on myself in the morning seems to be working, although it seemed very cruel today. I did not want to go! Too tired. However, when I purposfully leave all of my stuff to get ready for work at the gym in my locker I am forced to go, I have no choice. Of course, I'm glad I went, always am. But now all I want to do is go back to sleep and get rid of this headache.

Went 3 on the TM and did stair climber for 10 minutes. Then situps and streatching.

Blood work today at the new doctors office and real Dr. appt. tomorrow. Hope everything is going well and I hope I finally get to hear the heartbeat tomorrow.

That is a really smart trick, I've never heard of anyone doing that before but that is great motivation!
