Running Accomplishments:

Just starting to run and not confident yet! The highlights of my running career include running 5 miles through the hills of west salem. ha. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Excited to actually finish a race this year! First a 1/2 marathon then H2C!

CDA1/2 Marathon without dying.  

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep in shape, healthy.  Use running/excercise as a form of thearapy and way to clear my head.  It always puts me in a better mood no matter what! 

Personal:

Happily married with a doggie, Frank and a cat Phoebe.  Human children in the future, God willing!

Did the right thing and did not wear VFF's. And still OUCH! My ankle totally hurts really bad. It sucks. I think I am running wrong in them. Still striking with my heel first. I didnt even think I would suffer through two miles today. Somehow made four. Hope it gets better.

Yes, it hurts. Especially the right one. It started when I ran the 6 miles in the VFF's. It hurts behind the actual ankle knob, between the knob and the achilles heel. I am hoping that if I take a break from them it will go away. I know its because I still run on my heels in the VFF's. The left one hurts a little- not nearly as much as the right.

Its probably tendonitis - that's what I have been battling. BUT - here is the test. Can you hop up and down on the hurt foot on one leg? Try it 5 times. What is the pain like?
